Wow, so young, so fresh, such power. med+ body, full-flavored, very fine tannins, red/dark red core of fruit, good+ sense of place. This will live for many more years. The fruity exuberance of its youth has turned to the light, it's far more elegant than on release. highly recommended |

De color rubí opaco, casi negro, con gran brillo. En nariz predomina la fruta roja ( cereza, frambuesa) con cierto recuerdo a menta/mentol. Tras 2 horas del descorche, en boca lo percibimos denso, casi sin aristas, donde emergen las notas de chocolate, cuero, tabaco, café e higo sobre un lecho de ciruela. Reservar hasta el 2025. |

This starts out on the nose with black raspberry and cassis, charcoal, pencil, and hints of black licorice which evolves further to reveal a nice bit of damp forest floor and cured meats - really a nice nose. The palate is medium full to full bodied, modern, yet really well balanced and not overdone. Black raspberry, deep cherry, pencil, oak, lots of minerality, licorice, and earth with a polished texture and tannins. This took on some weight as it opened. Very good, should drink well for another decade. |
